Windows, Doors and Staircase for New Build in Norwich

Brief: In 2013, we were approached by Mr and Mrs Payne to quote for 28 units of bespoke joinery including a staircase for a new build project in the sought after area of Newmarket Road in Norwich. Boasting all styles of property from contemporary to traditional, we knew that our high performance joinery would be the perfect solution to our customer’s need for traditional aesthetics and reliable security and insulation within their new home. From the initial quotation to the fitting of the joinery, we ensured regular contact with Mr and Mrs Payne so that any queries were quickly dealt with and they were always kept up to date with the progress of their job.

Solution / Execution: Throughout the house we fitted 20 flush fitting casement windows, seven standard doors, one set of four door bi-fold doors, one chestnut staircase and a roof lantern. The windows and doors featured Georgian dummy spacers bars to give the effect of smaller panes within the unit as well as traditional black ironmongery and our police endorsed ‘Secured by Design’ multi point locking systems. Made from Sapele hardwood and fully finished with Farrow & Ball “House White” paint, these bespoke pieces of joinery were (quite literally) made for this extensive new build project.

Result: Across four days, our dedicated team of fitters installed Mr and Mrs Payne’s new joinery and made good throughout the site to ensure that they were able to continue their project in the knowledge that their joinery was finished to the highest standard. Having fulfilled the specifications outlined in the initial quotation stage, we were just as pleased to see the final result as the customer and we are proud to have had the opportunity to work on such an exciting venture.
